How to choose the right fade haircut
5 min read

The fade is the most-requested cut — but there's more than one. The difference is where the blend starts: a low fade is subtle and conservative, a mid fade is balanced and classic, and a high fade is bold with strong contrast.
Your face shape helps decide: round faces benefit from a higher fade that lengthens the line, while longer faces suit a low or mid fade. Your hair type and daily routine also matter.
A skin fade (down to the skin) gives the sharpest, cleanest look but needs more frequent refreshing. If you want low maintenance, a subtle taper fade grows out gracefully.
